Wonderland Performing Arts has produced several (typically 7+) full stage-productions each year for the past 3 years. Taking the current pandemic into consideration and the uncertainty of plans regarding performing arts venues opening up to full capacity, we are asking our families who participate in our stage productions to take a journey with us. We will be making some changes for the better as we move into our new studio & performance venue. We are forming production companies with the expectation of full communication, dedication, and flexibility in these uncertain times. We believe forming these companies will allow Wonderland to excel in bringing top-notch arts education experiences to our members. We are always striving to be the best in our field, and setting high standards for our company members is the way of the future for our goals. Dream BIG with us!
Auditions for Kids Company will be open to students in grades 2-5.
Auditions for JR Company will be open to students in grades 6-12.
Auditions are due Wednesday August 26!
1- You must audition to be in the company (info on virtual auditions is coming soon).
2- You must commit to ALL stage productions put on by the company for the fall and spring semesters (you are committing to the entire 2020-2021 season, rather than being able to choose to do our fall show but not our spring show).
3- You must be willing to be patient with our staff as we adhere to the government guidelines for safe practices, be open to virtual streaming/ticketing of shows to allow for smaller audience sizes, and understand that this year in particular will not necessarily replicate years past.
4- You must be dedicated and put your membership in the Production Company as your top priority. (You may not miss rehearsal unless you are sick with fever, vomiting, or have a serious family emergency).
5- You MUST be enrolled in at least one additional Wonderland class (ex: Triple Threat (space ltd), Acting, Dance, Musical Theatre, and/or Private Lessons) to obtain & maintain company status. Performance experience is important, and so are the classes that teach you the skills you need to train properly for performing.
