Christian Mouisset

Acting • Director

Christian Mouisset is a writer and actor who began his stage career here in Lafayette. He has worked for regional theatres across the country, including Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre, Canterbury Summer Theatre, Theatre Lab, and Palm Beach Dramaworks. In 2015, Christian premiered his first original work, a 10-minute solo piece entitled The Process, at Festival Internationale de Louisiane. In 2018 he premiered his first full-length solo show, MY STUPID HIP HOP FEVER DREAM at Burke Hawthorne Theater. He has also been commissioned by both the Hilliard Arts Museum and the UL College of the Arts to produce original devised theatrical pieces. Christian received his BFA in Theatre Performance at UL Lafayette and his MFA at Florida Atlantic University. Currently, Christian works as an adjunct acting instructor at UL Lafayette and as a teacher at Wonderland Performing Arts, focusing on acting, writing, and professional development.
