Experience in Education
Allison brings over 21 years of experience as an educator, spanning a wide variety of learning environments. She began choreographing musicals for local schools in 2005 and has since taught, substituted, and served as a guest teaching artist for numerous private schools. Before founding Wonderland, she taught ballet and launched a small theatre program at a local dance studio.

Her formal classroom experience includes two years as a Talented Theatre Teacher with Lafayette Parish Public Schools, where she worked with students in the Talented Arts Program. Allison has seen firsthand how theatre serves as a powerful outlet for both neurotypical and neurodivergent learners, fostering creativity, emotional intelligence, and connection.

Through her leadership at Wonderland, she has developed a strong and successful classroom culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and collective creativity. Her students learn to make art as a team, build each other up, and take pride in being part of something larger than themselves. The Wonderland Culture has proven effective, and Allison hopes to share its practices and philosophies with educators and students beyond her own community.

A Personal Note
Allison is currently writing her first children’s book, adding yet another creative chapter to her already multi-faceted artistic journey. She is also the proud mother of Adelaide Greer Brandon, who turns 11 in April 2025 and continues to inspire her work with every new stage and story.

With each production, workshop, and song, Allison aims to uplift others through the transformative power of the performing arts—creating magic, building confidence, and celebrating creativity every step of the way.
